MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR, CODY

I’m a law enforcement officer with over two decades of experience. Prior to that, I served in the United States Coast Guard as a Boatswains Mate and Boarding Team Member based out of district 13 in Seattle, Washington. I’m currently a police Sergeant in the Denver Metro Area of Colorado. I’m a POST certified firearm instructor, as well as a USCCA Firearm and First Aid Fundamentals Instructor.

I grew up in the Beautiful state of Montana and moved to Colorado in 2007. Aside from Law Enforcement and Firearms instruction, I am a proud dad of two beautiful daughters and a husband to a headstrong wife, Lasamoa. In my free time, I enjoy working out, going on a good hike, hanging with my American Pit Bull, Dublin, and while I love to fly fish I’m horrible at it.

Bearded Monkey Tactical offers a variety of different classes that will help you improve your fundamental skills whether with handguns or carbine. Additionally we offer mini classes that are helpful to further improve personal protection skills such as home defense, taser handling, and even concealed carrying options.

CONCEALED CARRY

Beginner | $69

This is a 4 Hour classroom-only based course. There will be NO live fire. It will be presented in a PowerPoint format with plenty of room for open discussion and Q&A along the way. 

This is Concealed Handgun course. Completion of this class will earn you a certificate to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit in whichever Colorado county you reside.

Colorado Emergency Preparedness
FIRST AID FUNDAMENTALS

ALL SKILL LEVELS | $69

Our Emergency First Aid Fundamentals class teaches you basic first aid and lifesaving techniques to be used in the event of a medical emergency.

You will learn how to properly assess a patient and how to deal with significant issues such as venous and arterial bleeding, compromised airway, head, chest, and spinal injuries, broken bones, burns, heart attacks, seizures, strokes, and more. Finally, students will learn how to build their own First Aid/Trauma Kit.

MINI CLASSES

ALL SKILL LEVELS | $49

These classes are offered incrementally and completely dependent on the schedule for each in-person class. These courses are typically one hour in length and will best serve community groups. These courses are going to be 60-90 minutes in length depending on the specific class.

    All Skill LEVELS | $299

    These classes are best for those that want more individualized attention for anyone of any skill level in any firearm. This class will be typically 4 hours in length and will allow you an opportunity to ask questions and learn at your preferred pace.
